typing it.
FXstudio's command palette puts every effect, preset, asset, and saved curve behind one shortcut — applied to the layers you've already selected. No panels to dig through. No flow to break.

Five tools that share one home — and one shortcut.
FXSearch is the way in — a native plugin, not a panel, so Ctrl+Space works anywhere in After Effects without a panel open. FXPort, FXCurve, FXSync, and the FXFlow action center live behind tabs in a single panel, and everything they make feeds back into that one search: your FXCurve presets, FXPort assets, and suite commands, all found the same way.
Every effect, preset, asset, and curve — one shortcut away
Press Ctrl+Space anywhere in After Effects, type a few letters, and FXSearch surfaces the effect or preset you're after — hit Enter to drop it onto your selected layers. Search runs across 246 native and CC effects (grouped by their real AE categories), your own .ffx Animation Presets, FXPort assets, FXCurve presets, and suite commands.
A hub for the moves you repeat
Create solids, nulls, cameras and lights; unprecomp a comp back to its layers without losing a thing; batch-apply an effect to every selected layer. Favorites, recents, and presets included.
Pull from any project
Browse another .aep, pick a comp, and bring it in as a precomp — or pull individual layers and assets. Before it imports, FXPort checks whether the footage already lives in your project and reuses it instead of duplicating.
Shape an ease, save it, reuse it
Draw velocity curves on a graph and keep them as presets — then summon any of them from FXSearch by name.
Put markers on the beat
Drop an audio layer, let FXSync detect the beat, and it writes markers to the comp at every hit — ready to snap your cuts to. No manual BPM grid required.

The same result.
A tenth of the friction.
Applying an effect shouldn't pull you out of the comp. FXstudio collapses the whole detour into muscle memory — so the idea in your head reaches the timeline before it fades.

Forget the menus.
FXstudio is designed to disappear. After a day, your fingers know it better than you do. Every shortcut is yours to remap.
I optimize for the three-hundredth time you reach for the same effect — not the first.
Motion design is a thousand small actions repeated until they become invisible. Every one of those actions is a place where friction hides. FXstudio is my attempt to remove the most common ones entirely — and then get out of your way.
